The Break Up Guide For Men

A bit of a different post this week, but none the less, a good one…

I’m a believer that all things happen for a reason. I firmly believe that it is how we react to circumstance that determines the outcome and not the circumstance itself. This is why my post this week is a coincidence in more than one way. Unlike the rest of my blog’s focus the post this week is a result of a chance encounter. Moreover the context of its focus aligns perfectly with my theory of how a persons reaction to circumstance outweighs the circumstance itself. The Break Up Guide For Men is an insight into true male emotion, read on for more…

It all started with a reunion in London…

The Break Up Guide For MenOf course it did, why wouldn’t it. Anyway, I was in London meeting with a group of University mates when we left our lunch spot and got talking to Shomarri Diaz. Quite how we got talking to him I can’t remember but nonetheless, he was engaging and good enough to put up with a handful of slightly worse for wear lads. We ended up talking about Shomarri’s first book. I must admit it surprised me a little bit, however the more Shomarri talked about it the more I realised how passionate he was about his first publication!

Calling on life experience the book is an open and honest reflection of the male disposition…

Shomarri’s book is called “The Break Up Guide For Men” and can be found here available for purchase. The book’s title doesn’t quite do its content justice. Whilst it does do exactly whats it says it will – provide a very concise and clear guide for working through a break-up – it is the way in which the book does this that’s special. Right from the off Shomarri manages to engage the reader and you get a real sense that he is talking directly to you. There is a feeling of sincerity about Shomarri’s writing which is often missing from novels of similar topics.

Chapters become milestones in The Break Up Guide For Men…

By this I mean that, Shomarri manages to relate directly to how most men will feel following a break up and wraps the various stages of emotions that men will feel into chapters. We live in a world where men are encouraged to talk more and more openly. Stop hiding emotion, feelings and thoughts as has been tradition. Instead we are encouraged to share what we feel and not brush emotion under the carpet. Shomarri takes this approach from the off, he directly addresses men’s emotions and lays them out for readers to, well, read!

In doing this Shomarri creates something more than a guide. He effectively creates a diary of emotion and provides advice on how to deal with them. The accuracy of emotions described in The Break Up Guide For Men is quite astounding. You truly get the sense that this book is written from true experience and a genuine passion to help others.

The Break Up Guide For Men isn’t just a book for those post break-up…

The Break Up Guide For MenObviously there will be those of you, like me, who thought that this book isn’t for them. Why would you read it if you weren’t going through a break up? Well, the answer is quite simple. Whilst the book does serve as a reference or support mechanism for those following a relationship, it is also a fantastic read and insight into a deeper side to the male psyche.

Do not write this book off as a book specific to circumstance. The Break Up Guide For Men could be a fictional novel should a character narrate the text. It is a unique window into how the male mind truly works and gives transparency to the types of emotion that you would not otherwise see.

So, I would encourage you to give Shomarri’s first book a read. It may help you if you are recently out of a relationship but it may also give you a unique insight into the male mind. You can find The break Up Guide For Men available for purchase here.
