So, I wanted to create a home for all of my workouts that I have been tracking daily on the blog.
Back in July 2016 I underwent knee surgery. The result of the surgery was that I had to wear a full leg brace for 6-7 weeks. This meant that for a period my training stopped and workouts stopped.
Prior to the op I was pretty active in my training and competed in Corssfit. So, early on in my recovery I set myself a goal of getting back to this level of fitness.
I wanted to use Fitness Food & Travel to document my recovery and progress back to fitness. Therefore, I decided to log every single workout that I completed.
The reason for this is to provide some motivation for anyone else coming back from injury. I want to provide a source of inspiration for others overcoming their own hurdles. In addition, I wanted to create a catalogue of workouts for anyone and everyone to try!
This has carried on and I have decided to make a workout series which is now nearly 12 months old!
Along the way there have been ups, downs and challenges. I have tried to be as open and honest as possible in logging the workouts. Each day has some commentary to go with the workouts to reflect my experiences.
